Sarasota has been my home since 1986, when I moved here from Illinois. After I graduated from college with a Civil Engineering Degree, I worked with my father in a drainage business that involved subsurface drainage operations. This included marketing and sales of imported German equipment, repair parts and inventory control and purchasing and service. Our business included a number of fixed wing aircraft. Growing up with aviation in my family, I recieved my pilot's license when I was only 16. I was fortunate enough to travel with my father for business purposes as well as pleasure when I was a few years younger. Travels took us to most of the European countries,Canada, Alaska Hawaii and Central America. After this under my belt, I worked 5 years as a series 3 Commodities Broker in Illinois, working with speculators as well as hedging accounts. When I arrived in Florida in 1986, I immediately began working with my father in land development. I experienced the residential market as well as commercial. During this time I owned and operated a Landscaping business which included design, installation and maintenance. With my background and love of people, I decided to go full time in real estate. My first year in the business with Keller Williams I was named "Rookie of the Year" for the North Region of Florida. I have enjoyed every minute of it since. I am proud to say that many of my satisfied clients have become some of my best friends. That I will always cherish!
